E-mail account setup parameters
Email addresses for HighSpeedTexas customers may be requested here.
Once requested, your username(s) should be active within 48 business hours.

Standard residential accounts include 3 free email addresses and business accounts include 10 free
email addresses. Additional email addresses are available upon request for an additional charge.
We also provide private email domain hosting services for “yourdomain.com”. Please Contact a sales
representative for details.

Web Mail
Email is available via web console at http://mail.highspeedtexas.com. Enter your username (UID) and
password and then click ‘Log In’. Standard email functions are available for sending and receiving,
however, the web client does not support a contact manager.

Email Client
The following parameters should be used for setting up your email account for use in various different
software programs such as Outlook, Outlook Express, etc. Many different email and contact manager
programs exist so the configuration terms may differ from those described below.

‘User’ refers to the email username requested.

Email address: user@highspeedtexas.com

Username: user_highspeedtexas_com
Password: user requested password

Type of email server: POP3
Incoming mail server: mail.highspeedtexas.com
Outgoing mail server: mail.highspeedtexas.com


* All other settings should be left at default

Upon successful configuration of your email account, you should test your settings. A successful
negotiation to our email server will provide an initial email with your username and password settings.
Please save this email for future reference or in the case of reconfiguring your email on a new computer.
